I've been working a lot and having to go to college despite me not wanting to, and I have little motivation these days. I think this project might've been a test run on coding and game design, and will lead me to better things when I'm in a better place in the near future.
Hopefully you won't abandon this wonderful project, it has a lot of promise. And it's one of the best VN's I've played in two + years. Don't give up! :)
Just to help you since there are multiple routes I would edit a bit the plot on this page on the Rei parts and change to something like the names of other dateable characters and take out the win the heart of Rei to whose heart will you win

Are the hyena men, the only species/race that will have any kind of importance in the role of this visual novel, or will there be other appearances from several other different life forms coming up later on to show the diversity of that world and all of its inhabitants?
I will have characters of other species, yes. A current example is a wolf character I'm working on that a certain hyena will be the owner of. Who knows what other animals I'll add in the future!
If that wolf character appears later in your VN, will he be an option for a romantic interest, or will that wolf mostly help the main character out in situations that are too dangerous to handle by himself?
I don't want to be too much of a bother by asking this question, but I was just wondering if this visual novel is going to follow any kind of schedule of how soon the updates will come by like say in a week and/or bi-weekly period or perhaps maybe just once a month? Although however frequently it's going to be updated I have to say I'm definitely interested in how it all began, so I can't wait to see how it will all turn out near the very end of it all. Thanks very much for all the work you've put into this, so far I'm eager to see who the main character develops the closest relationship with and how far they will go to stay together near the end.
Thank you so much for all the kind and thoughtful words! Unfortunately, since I'm a one man operation that needs to pay his bills, I am looking towards getting a job here soon. That will dramatically reduce the amount of work on the VN I can get done in a day. This was why I was hoping my Patreon would aid in me working less to work more on the VN, but so far I am going to need a job outside Patreon. I also have a personal gripe against schedules and putting large amounts of pressure on myself as this burns me out quicker and reduces the quality of my work. What I've been doing is "Do I feel like writing, coding, or drawing today?" And just choose one of the three for that day. So as far as a schedule goes, it's basically whenever I can get enough substantial and refined work done before I'll release another update. Stay tuned and thanks for following along on the journey!
If there are multiple romance routes for the main character, will he just have one partner to choose from, or will there be several romances at a time for the main character to have as the VN progresses?
I think I'm deciding on having you be with one romantically, and able to bed others. So ultimately you'll end up with the hyena I choose (TBD) but can also bed other ones before that relationship.

If the VN became popular enough, I'd add some premium access stuff. As it stands now, I'm doing it for support rather than exclusivity of content. But if one becomes the highest tier, I'll draw them stuff and do things within my capabilities to pay it forward ^^
Well I posted a devlog 9 days ago saying I was coming up on an update, and I have my discord server linked where you can ask me stuff directly if you so desired to.
Story is progressing great! I added a bunch and rewrote a lot of dialog from the demo. We're also going to be seeing more characters, as I've been drawing all day and night lately trying to flesh them out. Maybe in the next few days I'll have about 30 minutes of gameplay versus 8. Stay tuned and thanks once again for all the follows and ratings! I know the dialog in the demo is a little off, but I may have rushed a bit to get *something* out there. I assure you that some quality stuff is coming :)
I recommend you do these updates in the form of devlogs. It helps your followers see them, but also improves the odds of your game been seen on itch.io searches
I hope this question won't be too out of the blue and/or bizarre/strange to ask, but I was just wondering if you ever had the intention to put in some kinks/fetishes into your visual novel like say for instance vore in the categories of endosoma, safekeeping, non-fatal, or full tour along with maybe the possibility of Mpreg for the main character or any of the other characters that interact with he/them down the road by any chance?
Can't say I'm gonna put any fetishes that go outside vanilla stuff. I have plans for like teasers of musk stuff and stinky yeens xD. So no, sorry, I won't have like any harder fetishes or things that aren't possible like vore and whatnot.
